Reverie

A quiet moment, painted in water and light — then allowed to breathe.

Loose washes of peach, rose and ochre meet cool violet shadows. In motion, she blinks, turns toward you and away again, while the pigment softly blooms across the paper — then everything gently flows back, forever.

01 — The Piece

Painted slowly. Moving gently.

Reverie began as a single head-and-shoulders study: a young woman with loose auburn waves, her gaze resting just past the edge of the frame. The paper's white was left untouched for highlights, letting light come from the page itself.

The animation keeps the hand-painted character intact. Nothing is redrawn — the movement is small and patient: a blink, a turn, a few strands of hair lifting, and the background washes continuing to bleed as if still wet.
